Privacy at Kids Explore Careers
Kids Explore Careers is an educational project designed to help children and families learn about different careers through videos, interviews, and other educational content.
We care about children’s privacy and do not ask children to provide personal information through this website. Children should not submit their name, email address, phone number, school, home address, photographs, or other identifying information through the site.
Parents, guardians, teachers, and professionals
Any contact forms, email addresses, or opportunities to suggest careers or contact Kids Explore Careers are intended for adults. If a child would like to contact us or suggest a career, we ask that a parent, guardian, or teacher communicate on the child’s behalf.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are visited and how people find the site. Google Analytics may collect information such as browser and device information, approximate geographic information, session information, and website interactions. We use this information to improve the website and understand which educational content is useful to visitors.
We do not use Google Analytics to intentionally identify individual children.
YouTube videos
Kids Explore Careers embeds videos hosted by YouTube. When a visitor watches or interacts with an embedded YouTube video, YouTube and Google may process information associated with that interaction according to their own privacy practices.
Because this website is intended for children and families, we use available Google and YouTube child-directed privacy settings where applicable.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics and embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies to provide their services, measure website activity, and maintain functionality.
Information we receive from adults
Parents, guardians, teachers, professionals, or other adults may contact us voluntarily by email or through an adult-directed contact method. We use that information only for the purpose for which it was provided, such as responding to a question, arranging a career interview, or discussing Kids Explore Careers.
Children under 13
We do not knowingly ask children under 13 to provide personal information directly through this website. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us without appropriate parental involvement, please contact us so we can review and, when appropriate, remove it.
